JOB TITLE: CUSTOMER SUPPORT COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: INTERNAL COMMUNICATION & CUSTOMER SUPPORT
REPORTS TO: OFFICE MANAGER

POSITION MISSION:
The mission of the Customer Support Coordinator position is to support the management of Stego Industries, LLC’s main office, located in San Clemente, California. Stego’s Customer Support Coordinator will be expected to work flexibly and efficiently with the current Customer Service and Admin Support Teams to provide select, forward-facing customer services and related scopes of work. The Customer Support Coordinator will be expected to exhibit and promote Stego’s unique company culture, as well as the company’s commitment to exceptional communication, customer service, and teamwork.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Telephone Calls
  • Operate as “Primary” for incoming calls using multi-line switchboard.
  • Identify the needs of the caller and utilize resources to determine how to direct the call.
  • Connect and communicate the caller’s information and needs to the recipient before transferring the call.
  • Handle all mainline voicemail messages and track personnel availability.
Additional Customer Service Scopes
  • Back up on additional Customer Service scopes of work including e-Commerce order tracking.
  • Support all customer inquiries submitted via company and e-Commerce websites, and other channels.
  • Ensure administrative and operational issues are addressed by providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Contribute to general office support including the planning and execution of events.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with the public
  • Strong ability to manage own time and scope(s) of work without micro-management
  • Capability to multi-task and maintain high-quality work
  • Team player who is willing to be flexible in a fast-paced, growing business

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
  • Competency with multifunction, multi-line, digital telephone systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft computer programs – e.g., Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint

EDUCATION PREFERRED:
  • High School Diploma (or higher)

Compensation:
  • The salary range for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year depending on the level of experience, skill, and value being brought to the role.

What to Expect for the Hiring Process:
It is vastly important for Stego to be thorough in our vetting and interview process to make sure the position is the right fit for both parties.

If your application is selected to move forward, the first step prior to a phone interview will be to submit a video introduction through LinkedIn's video platform. Following the vetting of the video introductions, you may be invited for a phone or video interview with our Office Manager. As you move through the hiring process, you'll be invited to interview with several Stego team members. Pending COVID-19 regulations and safety considerations, the final interview stage may be done in person.
